Deep ruby purple color with ripe raspberries, spice and blueberries on the nose. This classic southern Rhone style blend offers great balance and layers of flavor. On the palate, the berries and spice combine into a delicious melange of flavors with hints of plum and black pepper that last well into the finish. Delicious now on its own, it is also a great foil for barbecued meats and fowl, hard cheeses and hearty vegetarian fare. It can reward patience by continuing to develop over the next few years if you can stop yourself before then.
